· Feldenkrais is a non invasive method that gives people an improved internal sense of physical control and balance. It is named after Israeli Physicist Dr. Moshe Feldenkrais
· Gentle touch and innovative movement sequences are used to stimulate brain activity and refine brain - muscle communication
· Common results include less pain and stress, more comfort, energy and mental clarity and improved balance and self use
· Feldenkrais is taught in two ways:
· Awareness Through Movement® (ATM) classes are group lessons in which participants follow verbal instructions and learn independence in creating results for themselves.
· Functional Integration® (FI) lessons are customized private sessions that often include hands on work.
